In its inaugural year, She Don Did It emerged as a groundbreaking initiative aimed at exploring innovative ideas and creating meaningful opportunities for women in the music industry. This six-month music business incubator was specifically designed to open access pathways for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic women, as well as non-binary emerging music creators aged 17 to 25.
Throughout its pilot year, She Don Did It focused on equipping participants with essential skills, knowledge, and resources necessary for building sustainable careers in the music industry. The programme emphasized fostering a supportive community that champions diversity and inclusion, ensuring that voices from underrepresented backgrounds are heard and celebrated.
With a commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by these creators, She Don Did It set the stage for lasting impact in the industry, paving the way for future initiatives aimed at promoting equality and visibility in music. Together, participants began to forge their paths and redefine the music landscape.
