Female Mentorship

At Girl Grind UK, we're well aware that the path to personal and professional triumph can sometimes feel like a lone journey. It's essential to realise you're not meant to navigate this path by yourself — mentorship is absolutely key in elevating individuals, particularly for those in Birmingham from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who may encounter distinct obstacles along the way.

Our ethos is all about empowering these individuals through heartfelt connections and bespoke guidance.

Over the years, our commitment has truly shaped lives across Birmingham. We've witnessed the transformative power of thoughtful mentorship: it connects dots, dismantles barriers, and illuminates futures for countless women, girls, and gender-expanding people on their grind.

Keep reading; let us show you how we can bring YOUR dreams to life.

Girl Grind UK offers mentorship programs like GROWNISH for ages 12 to 17 and WOMANISH for ages 18 to 30, focusing on personal and professional growth.

The programmes provide tailored mentorship, workshops, community support, mental well-being advocacy, and foster cultural unity.

Mentorship boosts confidence, improves skills, widens networks in industries where women may find it hard to progress and empowers Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Women, Girls, and Non-Binary individuals.

GROWNISH (12/17) development programme

Excited to unveil the GROWNISH development programme, specially designed for young individuals aged 12 to 17. The mission focuses on empowering Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Women, Girls, and Non-Binary people through effective female mentorship in Birmingham. With a rich blend of performance guidance and personality development tips, the goal is to uplift and support the community.

  • Tailored Mentorship: Mentors are matched with mentees based on interests, goals, and experiences. This personalised approach ensures that every participant receives guidance that resonates with their personal journey.

  • Workshops and Events: Covering a broad spectrum of topics from leadership skills to creative expression, these workshops are designed not just to educate but also to inspire action and confidence among participants.

  • Community Support: Believing in the power of networking within a safe and supportive community allows participants the chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share similar backgrounds and aspirations.

WOMANISH (18/30) development programme

Building on what we've learned in our GROWNISH programme, we now introduce WOMANISH – made just for those aged 18 to 30. This next step lets us dive deeper into female leadership, networking, and mentorship in Birmingham and other places.

  • Receive personalised mentorship from experienced leaders in your area of interest. We know how important connections and guidance can be.

  • Attend workshops and seminars that cover advanced topics about women's leadership and professional growth, making sure you're ready for the challenges ahead.

  • Take part in networking events with other ambitious individuals like yourself. These are perfect chances to create strong partnerships.
