BLK + GRN X Girl Grind UK
BLK + GRN is a cross-cultural movement operating at the intersection of the arts and the environment.

BLK+GRN has been designed to galvanise women aged 18 to 30 from the Black and Asian Minority Ethnic communities across the West Midlands region.

At it's heart, the movement is about women reclaiming local green spaces, creating pathways for change and raising awareness and collective consciousness about the local and global climate crisis.

BLK+GRN engenders women from diverse backgrounds in the position of becoming critical and reflective thinkers and doers.
BLK + GRN will be delivered through our WOMANISH development arm.

BLK+GRN will equip participants with skills, opportunities, fresh insights and perspectives on green issues and facilitate creative stimuli to artistically and emotionally respond to the local Climate Emergency declared by Birmingham City Council in 2019 and of course the ever-pressing global climate crisis we face collectively.
