Namywa, Romanah and Binaca, in their own unique way, played pivotal roles in the outstanding experiences that unfolded throughout the summer of 2022, from arranging breathtaking opening ceremony performances to curating captivating dance showcases and spearheading transformative community projects, these Black Business Women and Creatives have demonstrated their indomitable spirit and collective commitment to uplifting Birmingham's creative community. With the upcoming one-year anniversary of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, this remarkable collaboration "What If" represents a powerful coming together of creative forces, fueled by the city's rich heritage and an unyielding passion for artistic excellence.

 

In this captivating production, "What If" delves into the captivating journeys of three strong, hardworking and relatable characters: Petta-gay, who took a gallant leap by boarding the historic HMT Empire Windrush ship and eventually arrived in Birmingham; Jada, faced with a life-changing decision that will shape her future; and Blessing, determined to rise above the naysayers and launch her career, requiring a daring leap of faith. Although their paths never cross, fate brings them together in Birmingham, where each is confronted with monumental choices and must summon the courage to take that leap of faith.
