Lets rebrand

We think it’s time for a rebrand, Don't You?

Firstly, what is a brand?

A brand is the way a product, company, or individual is perceived by those who experience it.

What’s a strong example of a brand?

Let's take a look at Apple. Some marketing experts say that Apple’s brand is the key to their success.

Why is this?

"Apple is about imagination, design and innovation," Which is clearly seen in the way they cleverly market their products, essentially you are buying into the brand values, feel & image rather than the product itself.

So why is rebranding important?

Branding is key to the success of a business.

It is what sets you apart from competitors, it is how people recognise who you are, it is the identity of the company.

Over time brands can become dated and are in need of rejuvenation.

After all, Apple has rebranded three times.

Here at Girl Grind UK our company mission is “To keep with the times and stay grinding”, and in literal terms, this means our brand identity must also keep with the times.

So how are we going to rebrand?

We will be starting a campaign that demonstrably personifies who we are as a company. We are looking for people to be the face of our brand that represent everything we stand for.

We are currently on a search for women, girls and non binary people who feel that they represent all the things we stand for to feature in our upcoming campaign.

Equality and diversity are our two main priorities when it comes to this rebrand as we want to represent all the women we support.

Our community is an untapped melting pot made up of the most vibrant, ambitious and creative kind of people, and that is what we want to encompass with this rebrand.

In the West Midlands, time and again, we see a lack of representation for all different types of women in branding decisions.

Why is that?

We desperately want to change that, at least for our own peace of mind, and give women of all backgrounds and cultures the opportunity to be the face of our brand so others can see people like themselves at the forefront of the industry.

The lack of representation can be disheartening for many people and can turn people away from pursuing their dream careers in business or in the Arts.

There needs to be people who look similar to all of us being placed at the face of the brand, because who better to represent us than our very own?

So what does a rebrand mean for Girl Grind UK?

A rebrand means a reset for us. It’s time to reset and restart.

We want to show you guys who we are.

Authentically and unapologetically.
